About A Slice of Life

A Slice of Life · with Dominic Decker

For the feelings you’re carrying and the decisions ahead.

You may still love your partner and wonder whether you can stay. After separation, you may feel relief and grief in the same day. A Slice of Life makes room for that complexity, with emotional insight and practical guidance for what comes next.

This is the Anxiety Master podcast, exploring relationship strain, uncertainty and life after separation. The aim is to help you recognise what you’re experiencing, understand patterns and find practical ways to respond, without rushing a decision.

Understanding your experience

When a relationship is under strain, you might find yourself returning to the same argument, watching your partner’s mood or questioning your own reactions. Love, shared history and hope can make it difficult to judge what needs to change, and whether you both want to work towards it.

After separation, you may miss the everyday familiarity of being together and the future you expected to share. An urge to send a message, an empty home or an unfamiliar routine can bring the loss into focus. These episodes explore the conflicting feelings, questions of identity and everyday decisions that can follow a relationship’s end.
